I ended up working most of my teaching career in a country where Income Tax STARTS at 52% but I was still better off there …
Family responsibilities were ONE of the factors which brought me home but that was only one part of the equation.A lot has changed in the thirty years or so I was ‘away’. Liverpool today is a bright, busy beacon and everyone who lives here has good reason for the smile on their face.
